I ran across some hilarious fan fiction by Kate Nuernberg. It's a very well written tribute to both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Terry Pratchet's Discworld. And Ms. Nuernberg deeply groks them both. It's also obvious from some of the jokes that she's familiar with the mud.
Have fun, but don't eat any of Dibbler's sausages!
