If this rumor: "Yahoo! News - Bush Plans to Send Americans to Moon, on to Mars" turns out to be true, we may be going back to the moon and possibly even more...
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Buoyed by a successful landing on Mars by a robot explorer, President Bush (news - web sites) plans a major announcement on space policy next week that envisions sending Americans back to the moon and ultimately to Mars, officials and congressional aides said on Thursday.
In other news NASA is still trying to prove they really expected to make it to Mars this time. The current trouble, like previous Mars problems, is undoubtably due to interference by a certain local.
And here it is! A Marvin the Martian Filmography put together by Raleigh, a devoted fan.

I am excited about the upcoming space projects what about everyone else?

If this does turn into a base on the moon and especially if this turns into a permamnent, sustainable and growing presence of humans in space, I think it's the most important thing to happen since fire.

Also do you think that the side effects from living in an low grav environment over long periods of time could cause serious tissue damage to the human musclar and nervous systems??
